2nd International Summer School on Intelligent Agents in Automation

The Summer School is co-sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Industrial Agents, Linköping University (Sweden), Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal), Institute of Automation and Information Systems, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Munich (Germany) and UNINOVA – Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias (Portugal).
The event is also featured as an official course on the Swedish P2030 Instrument of Education and supported as part of this initiative’s graduate school and as a PhD course at Linköping University worth 6 ECTS.
This event is designed to provide advanced training for PhD students and practitioners on the advanced automation technologies that will be the basis for Industry 4.0. In this line, the theme for this edition of the Summer School is “The 4th Industrial Revolution and the Industrial Internet of Things” aiming to promote the discussion on how design, develop and implement the next generation of intelligent production system based on their cyber-physical formulation.
